Recently, I started learning the violin.
I have dyslexia and find reading sheet music quite challenging.
My teacher usually sends me photographed sheet music, which works well for most people, but it complicates things further for me.
So, I decided to rewrite my own sheet music. As a developer, I discovered Frescobaldi, a graphical interface for LilyPond, which allows you to code your sheet music. It's an excellent tool.
Even better, it supports bowing notation and some useful violin-specific features!
I've decided to share all my rewritten sheet music in .ly format so that you can download them, modify them if needed, and also access the PDFs.
I will write a separate article for each piece and make those articles available here.
